About Spring Mills Alpacas

Our mission is to raise and sell high-quality alpacas and alpaca products. Each animal at Spring Mills Alpacas is unique and special to us. Our goal is to support and educate our customers about this unique, fun, and friendly animal. Spring Mills Alpacas is here to help! We want to know how our animals are doing even after they leave us. We know about the worries and concerns in raising alpacas. Let us help you anytime.

We shear once a year between May and June. This is a huge day for the animals to lose their winter coats, a day for the alpacas to sunbathe and lay about, and a good day for us to give our animals a thorough checkup!

Our Animals

Spring Mills Alpacas is home to 21 alpacas. Our animals are sheared once annually. Our animals fleece is processed by New England Fiber Co-op and used to produce a variety of attractive and useful products using this comfortable, all-natural, and cruelty-free material.

We’re also home to Larry the llama, who wandered in from another farm and decided to stay!
